Mayor of Bandon, Gearóid Buckley has welcomed the news that 33 jobs will be created in Bandon by Internet firm Newsweaver

‘It is fantastic news that Newsweaver are creating 33 jobs in Bandon. Each job is valued so much in this current economic climate. These new job opportunities will contribute immensely to the local economy.

‘It must also be noted that Newsweaver, an IT based company, have chosen Bandon to further develop their unique business; a decision that I believe highlights what Bandon has to offer to modern business.

‘The growth & development of companies such as Newsweaver are the key to economic recovery and I am confident that they will be one of the many that will lead us into a positive future; one which will see Bandon at the centre of business activity in West Cork.’
